Trego County is known for exceptional outdoor sporting experiences.  Cedar Bluff Reservoir and State Park is considered world-class for bass fishing.   The Cedar Bluff Wildlife Area encompasses approximately 7,500 acres of land and 6,800 acres of water. Besides excellent hunting and fishing opportunities around the lake, Trego county has some of the best pheasant, dove and quail hunting in the nation, deer and wild turkey hunting and waterfowl hunting.
