The average home contains 3-10 gallons of material that can be dangerous to your health and the environment.

• Homes are full of hazardous substances. These substances may be poisonous, flammable, corrosive, reactive, or carcinogenic.
• Improper disposal may contaminate the air, the soil, or water and danger the environment.
• Improper use of these products can present a danger to your health. They may be ingested, absorbed through the skin, or inhaled.

Trego County Household Hazardous Waste Facility/Landfill will accept HHW from households, free of charge. Businesses are excluded and the waste will not be accepted.

Each participant will be limited to 5 gallons of liquid or 50 pounds of household hazardous waste per residential visit.

Please do not mix any of these materials.
